In 2020, the bride and groom were introduced through social media by Kylee's bodacious maid of honor and bestie of eight years, Kiara. At the time, the pandemic had just begun, so they spent a gnarly amount of time getting to know each other on Snapchat before they met in person.
When they met for the first time at their Junior Prom, the spark they felt was undeniable. They both said cowabunga! and decided to be exclusive from that point forward.
While newly graduated, they got engaged while Kylee pursued her career in college and before Reese left for boot camp. Shortly after basic training was finished, the two decided to make it official in a small ceremony on December 17th, 2021, in Wichita, Kansas.

The wedding theme is a homage to the Bride and Grooms love of the 80s aesthetic. Though all things '80s will be heavily incorporated into the look and feel of wedding festivities and decor, the wedding party will be in traditional formal attire.
Guests are encouraged to come dressed comfortably as they are in 2024.
